UPDATE: On December 23, 2025 - Chrissy lost her fight against cancer. She left behind her 3 beautiful babies and a grieving husband. I have linked her funeral information at the bottom of this page. Continue to pray for this family as they mourn and learn to navigate life without Chrissy. Chrissy and Mickey are young parents from Elberton, Georgia, doing everything they can to hold their family together in the face of unimaginable odds. Chrissy, just 29, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive sarcoma cancer while pregnant with their youngest son, Axel.

Because of her cancer, Axel was born at only 26 weeks — tiny, fragile, and fighting just like his mama. Together with their other two children, Riley (10) and Hazel (18 months), they’ve spent months away from home — living at the Ronald McDonald House for over 90 days, facing terrifying nights in the ICU, and praying for more tomorrows together.

Chrissy’s fight is far from over. The medical bills keep piling up. Mickey’s doing everything he can to hold it all together. They need us — and this is how we can help.
